How to Change a Brush Blade to a Stihl FS 130 R
A brush blade can fit on the Stihl FS 130R weed trimmer to replace the nylon cutting string. Brush blades can cut vines, woody brush and small trees around 3/4 inch in diameter for easy removal. When your brush blade is damaged with tooth, or doesn’t cut well, now is the time to place a new blade on the grass trimmer to expedite your trim. Retain the protective shield and wear gloves while performing this procedure for safety functions.
Release the throttle trigger on the grass trimmer’s bottom control manage to prevent blade spinning. Push the slide control on the top of the control handle to the back of the tool toward the motor to block the engine.
Catch the black, rubber spark plug in addition to the motor cover and pull it away from the spark plug. Turn the grass trimmer over using the gear head to a flat, level surface and the brush blade facing upwards. Allow the motor to cool completely.
Put on leather gloves to protect your hands from sharp blades. Insert an Allen wrench to the output shaft on the ideal side of the gear head under the blade. Hold the Allen wrench inward in the hole. Put the Stihl mixture tool on the mounting nut to the surface of the blade. Turn it counterclockwise to loosen it and then eliminate it. Remove the Allen wrench.
Pull the rider drier and plate under the mounting nut right up and away from the tool. The rider plate is a metal piece that looks to be an upside down bowl and the washer is under it.
Catch the old brush blade with one hand on each hand and then pull it straight up and away from the program’s output shaft. The output is a threaded metallic piece protruding in the gear head’s middle. Put a new brush blade on the output together with the teeth of their blades pointing clockwise.
Replace the washer with the flat side facing the motorist plate and the mounting nut to the output shaft. Replace the Allen wrench to the output shaft and hold it in position. Tighten the mounting nut clockwise using the combination tool. Replace the spark plug firmly in addition to the spark plug.
