How to Clean Hard Water Stains on Windows With Toothpaste
Hard water leaves behind mineral deposits after evaporation that can stain and mar the appearance of your house’s windows. Water alone often is not sufficient to clean out the windows, but your bathroom cupboard provides a solution. Toothpaste can fanatic those stains away.
Splattered with Areas
If the window is covered with hard water stains, consider wiping them away with vinegar before using toothpaste. Dampen a soft cloth with white vinegar. Wipe the entire glass surface down with the cloth, then wipe over areas where spots stay. If any stains stay, try out the toothpaste treatment.
Toothpaste to the Rescue
A non-gel toothpaste’s gentle abrasives are designed designed to clean teeth but also do the job for hard water stains on window glass. Squirt a little bit of toothpaste on a damp, clean soft cloth. Rub the toothpaste over the affected region, then wipe down with a wet sponge or cloth to take out the toothpaste. A squeegee used immediately afterwards give a streak-free finish.
